Wazhat! Wahzat!

A Snow day in Jamaica?!!!!

This Thursday the playschool that my children go to, had a Snow day!! No it didn’t suddenly get freezing cold in Jamaica.
The teachers thought it would be cool to allow the children a chance to experience snow. So they blocked off a room, draped it in black, hung huge white snow ornament from the ceiling, rented two a/cs and a bubble machine. No way near the real thing, though it was really, really cold and the bubble machine managed to shoot out fluffy bubbles that could kind of look like snow, but do you think that made any difference to these two.
Don’t they look like they had a whale of a time?! They made little snowflake art with their handprints with their pictures in the centre. To those of you in real snow do hope you are keeping safe and warm!

  1. Hey G, that was real cool.  I know the kids must have enjoyed that quite a bit!  Maybe one day you and the family could take a trip up north during the winter so that the kids can experience real snow (smile).  The pictures of the them in their Christmas play are really cute too.  Have a great week!

  2. That is SO COOL! Cheers to the teachers for being creative!

  3. Awwww, that was too sweet!!  If those kids had more fun than that they would have buss!  I hope you get to give them the "real snow" experience one day soon.   Atlanta is not the destination for that though!  So check Sherry in Texas or somewhere further north for some snow!
    Have a great week!

  4. Hey G,
Our snow is gone, but seeing the joy on your children\’s faces is more fun than getting the snow here, which will come back regardless.  That was such a cool thing for the playschool to do!  OK!  How did you get your pictures, so nice and big for us to see, on the blog?  I still am not getting it right.

  5. CONGRATULATIONS on being featured! enjoy!

  6. Congratulations!!!

  7. That is great!  I can only imagine how much fun they had.  Those pics are priceless.  What a great idea!
    Congrats on being featured!

  8. Toooooooo cute!  Looks like they had a great time!  I would be more than willing to send some of my snow your way – because that\’s just the kind of nice person I am! LOLHave a great day!  God bless 🙂

  9. What a cute idea. My little man has never been able to experience snow (or snow like that!) but hopefully he will be able to soon. I fear that I will not escape winter without it this year (little man is only 15 months old).
