In appreciation of my Caribbean people at the Olympics!

It is such a joy to see our Caribbean people run truimphant at the Olympics.
The Jamaicans are blazing it up and at last taking home the medals.
And of course I am still beaming because my little isle of T&T in the form of Richard Thompson sprinted away with the silver at that totally awesome 100 m race that Usain Bolt sailed to a most amazing victory!

I love to see the winning that the Olympic brings I love to see the intense happiness and truimph that comes with winning and I appreciate the work that it takes to get so many of the athletes and I am glad that we can share in it. And even though every one can’t be the gold medal winner in my mind they are all winners just for being there for us to cheer on!

Hip Hip Hooray to all those participating in the Olympics and WOOHOO to my Caribbean people for doing us proud!

  9. I congratulate the Caribbean athletes and did watch many of the races.  Bolt is quite a phenomenal athlete in his own right.  I was a bit taken aback at his lack of sportsmanship in a preliminary event, but was happy to see a change from that as his events developed.  The Jamaican and T&T athletes are awesome!

  10. p.s.
